Students must complete a minimum of three (3) hours of instruction to be certified to carry and/or use a OC Spray / Tear Gas. Students may not possess or carry OC Pepper Spray / Tear Gas until they have a valid Guard Card and OC Pepper Spray / Tear Gas card issued. OC Pepper Spray / Tear Gas cards are issued the same day you complete the course.

Students are strongly encouraged to participate in being sprayed with OC Pepper Spray during the course. This helps students understand the true effects of OC Pepper Spray in a real life situation. This also gives our students the ability to better articulate themselves on both reports and in a court of law if they ever had to use OC Pepper Spray / Tear Gas.

This course is only offered at our Rancho Cucamonga, California Training Facility.
